With the 3 to 2 win in Antigonish on Sunday night, they Pirates have the chance to eliminate the Antigonish Bulldogs at home on Tuesday night. The series is at 3 games to 1, and the Pirates hope to keep their momentum going with a win tonight to take the Sid Rowe Division title. Game time is 7:30pm at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre.
What a series this has been so far, great hockey for the fans of both teams with fast, hard hitting and intense action. So far this series has seen many highlight reel goals, unbelievable saves and the edge of your seat type of play that has made the Pirates / Bulldogs rivalry so storied over the years. Tonight’s game should be more of the same.
A well rounded responsible game has proven successful for the Pirates so far in the series with balanced offence, steady defence and great goaltending from Laite. Pirates have received offence from all three scoring lines in the series and the fourth has done a great job checking some of the Dogs top players. The following is the team stats for the series.

Should the Pirates eliminate the Bulldogs in any of the three series games remaining, they will face the winner of the Fred Fox Division series which will be either the East Hants Penguins or the St. Margaret’s Bay Ducks. Currently the East Hants Penguins lead the series 3 games to 1, with their next game scheduled for Wednesday night.
The Pirates players, coaching staff and executive would like to extend our sincere thanks to fans that have been supporting us throughout the playoffs and regular season. The Civic Centre packed almost 1,100 people in on Friday night to see the Pirates win 6 to 2, and a huge following of fans were in attendance in Antigonish on Sunday night for the 3 to 2 win. Your support in appreciated and needed again tonight as we try to finish off the Dogs.
GO PIRATES GO!!!
